At OGM we fabricate and install 2 types of shower enclosures. We also have a sandblaster for custom designs that can be etched onto any of our clear glass shower panels.
1. Framed Shower Enclosures: Framed shower enclosures are an inexpensive way to "dress up" a bathroom, and eliminate mildew-prone shower curtains forever. This type of enclosure comes with an aluminum frame that can be gold, chrome, or satin nickel. You can choose clear glass or pick from a variety of obscure glasses, such as rain, Lincon, or fluted glass. The glass is tempered and measures 3/16" thick. The enclosures we install are custom fit for the opening in your home.
2. Frameless/Steam Shower Enclosures: Frameless shower enclosures (also known as "heavy glass enclosures") allow for limitless possibilities. Since the glass for these enclosures is 1/4" or 3/8" thick, less aluminum is required for the frame. If you desire an "open feel" to your new shower, this is the choice for you. These units can even be built all the way to the ceiling to create a steam enclosure. Depending on how your shower is designed, the heavy glass can be set on hinges or hidden hardware, and glass panels can often be seamed without any hardware at all. There is also an assortment of acrylic and aluminum pulls, knobs, and towel bars available.
